Sound has clearly become one of the main features inherent in the contemporary image. The ten or so works brought together in this thematic exhibition of works from the Musée Collection incorporate sound, the idea of sound or occasionally, and more dramatically, the absence of sound, in the very nature and form of the work. The artists represented share the same marked interest in sound or music. A poetic to-and-fro between an intrusive propagation of sound and its silent, poignant or playful ideality.
