Artwork description
In Aude Moreau’s video, a long tracking shot depicting New York City’s horizon of sky scrapers render this familiar cityscape into something otherworldly, transforming it, almost, into a maquette. From the heart of Manhattan to Battery Park, the city’s architectural and financial history unfolds along a central axis to reveal the construction site of One World Trade Centre.
