Artwork description
Diamant is a continuation of previous works by Pascal Grandmaison, titled Verre and Mon ombre. This complex piece depicts a series of alternating animated and inanimate images of seemingly dispossessed people and isolated objects. A spinning diamond is intercut with scenes of a young woman whose focused and tense gestures suggest a destabilizing rupture with reality.
