This summer, the artistic adventure continues. Public art exhibited near the museum will greatly stimulate the imagination of campers. In the form of a fantasy story, we will encounter intriguing works of art. Among other things, we will draw inspiration from the following works: Où boivent les loups by Stephen Schofield, Paquets de lumière by Gilles Mihalcean, and also After Babel, a Civic Square by John McEwen and Marlene Hilton-Moore. In addition, campers will have the opportunity to discover works from the museum’s collection such as Geneviève Cadieux’s La Voie lactée as well as works from the new exhibitions. A wide range of activities in the visual arts and digital arts will be offered: drawing, painting, engraving, collage, sculpture and screen- printing on t-shirt.
Hosted by media specialists, campers will enjoy a highly expressive experience. Pleasure and discovery will be at the rendezvous. At lunchtime, we will go for a picnic in the museum’s sculpture garden. On the menu: fun, games and new friends! At the end of the week, the pictures created by the participants will dazzle parents and friends during a colorful event.
