The Nocturne on June 20 will be celebratory, in honour of the Musée’s fiftieth anniversary. The whole evening will focus on the sharing and support offered to the museum over the years by so many artists, art lovers and donors. The link between music and contemporary art, visual experimentation and sound art, will continue to be the Nocturne’s inspiration.

Scheduled: 3 exhibitions, DJs, a performance by the artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, workshop, Nocturne ambience and cocktails

Performance by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer at 8 p.m.

  • In a performative intervention, the artist will create a visual and sonic symphony that will resound throughout the Musée.

Art Workshop 50 Years – A Gift!

  • As you celebrate the Musée’s 50th anniversary, use plastic film and twine to gift-wrap a drawing-collage featuring elements of the museum’s architecture.
  • This workshop is inspired by two pieces on view in the exhibition The Grace of a Gesture.
